Job summary

Everforth ECS seeks an Aviation Lead to provide program leadership and execution management for aviation training systems on-site at Ft Rucker, Alabama. The role demands coordinating SME involvement, reviews, and stakeholder engagements to ensure training objectives are met.

You will manage risk, ensure safety and readiness, and drive performance metrics across aviation engineering, training, logistics, test, safety, cybersecurity, and acquisition teams.

Qualifications

• Active security clearance required.
• Experience as an instructor or test pilot preferred.
• Army aviation experience with UH-60M aircraft.
• Bachelor's degree in aviation, engineering, PM, or related field.
• 8+ years in aviation training, DoD program management, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall program leadership, strategic oversight, and execution management for aviation training systems on-site at Ft Rucker.
• Direct program execution, lead program reviews, SME involvement, and stakeholder engagements; manage acquisition and contract activities with Government partners.
• Oversee risk management, concurrency planning, and issue resolution to ensure training continuity, safety, and readiness.
• Ensure cross-functional integration among aviation engineering, training, logistics, test, safety, cybersecurity, and acquisition teams.
• Review and approve key deliverables (QASPs, maintenance plans, test plans, accreditation docs, performance metrics); provide executive-level briefings.

Job Description

Everforth ECS is seeking an Aviation Lead to work on-site at Ft Rucker, Alabama. The Aviation Lead provides overall program leadership, strategic oversight, and execution management. The individual is accountable for the successful planning, coordination, and execution of aviation training system activities supporting initial entry, advanced, and sustainment flight training objectives. Responsibilities include directing program execution, leading program reviews, technical interchange meetings, and stakeholder engagements; and managing acquisition and contract execution activities in coordination with Government stakeholders. The Aviation Lead oversees risk management, concurrency planning, and issue resolution to ensure training continuity, safety, and readiness. The role ensures effective cross-functional integration among aviation engineering, training, logistics, test, safety, cybersecurity, and acquisition teams. The Aviation Lead coordinates Subject Matter Expert (SME) involvement and reviews and approves key program deliverables, including Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASPs), maintenance plans, test and evaluation plans, device accreditation and qualification documentation, and training system performance metrics. Additional duties include overseeing performance tracking and reporting, ensuring compliance with Army aviation training standards, contractual requirements, and providing executive-level briefings and decision support to Government leadership. The Aviation Lead is responsible for high-level planning, compliance, and delivery of all program objectives in support of safe, effective, and operationally relevant flight training.
