Job summary

Austin Commercial is seeking a Senior Superintendent for its Aviation Division to lead field construction on major airport projects. The successful candidate will oversee safety, schedule, and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery of large-scale infrastructure programs.

Extensive travel and relocation may be required. A proven track record in aviation construction and a strong emphasis on safety and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a construction-related field (or equivalent) required.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training completed or obtainable within first year.
• 10+ years of aviation construction field experience with direct supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Leads and oversees day-to-day field construction activities on the jobsite.
• Manages a large project staff including multiple project managers and superintendents.
• Ensures overall safety at the jobsite and implements safety plans and procedures.
• Reviews submittals, shop drawings, and schedule to determine project scope and resources.
• Plans layout of the jobsite and initiates startup activities such as security, trailers, and utilities.
• Directs field engineers in surveying and verification of dimensions prior to foundation work.
