Job summary

Diversified is seeking a Senior Field Engineer to commission and optimize AV systems in field deployments across the SF Bay Area. You will install, configure, test, and fine-tune complex AV equipment to meet design intent, traveling to customer sites and solving issues as they arise.

The role includes mentoring other FE’s and providing remote support. The position is virtual within the SF Bay Area; local candidates only.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/associate degree in CS/Engineering/IT/AV tech or related field.
• 5 years AV Field Engineer experience.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills; strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Commission systems in the field.
• Collaborate with system programmer to ensure control system functions; remote troubleshooting with programmers.
• Lead a project team on large projects as needed.
• Provide simple code and touch panel updates under programmer guidance.
• Keep current on technology, firmware updates, and common field issues.
• Diagnose problems and formulate effective solutions.
• Mentor FE colleagues and provide remote assistance.
