Shield AI is seeking a senior Autonomous Pilot Integration engineer to design and field autonomy software for unmanned platforms. You will drive mission behaviors, multi-agent coordination, and executive autonomy across hardware-in-the-loop and live tests.

You will mentor senior engineers, shape architecture decisions, and partner with Autonomy Capabilities and Perception teams to ensure robust, field-ready solutions across air, maritime, space, and other domains.

Qualifications

• Experience leading cross-functional autonomous systems projects.
• Strong programming fundamentals in C++ and Python.
• Hands-on with real-time or latency-sensitive systems.

Responsibilities

• Own autonomy software across programs end-to-end, from sim to live tests.
• Mentor engineers and influence cross-team technical direction.
• Collaborate with platform integrators and DoD stakeholders.
