Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Nashville, TN is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading a team to improve customer care and satisfaction.

You will train technicians, pursue ASE certifications within two years, and stay current with automotive technology through formal training. A valid driver's license and state certifications are required. Competitive pay and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license at all times.
• Demonstrated skill in brakes and hydraulics systems and/or steering & suspension.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brake/hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanics.
• Stay current with automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three of A1–A8 within two years; company pays tests and passes bonuses.
