Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Lakeland, FL, is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and lead a team toward improved customer care and satisfaction. The role emphasizes leadership and mentoring within a busy store environment.

You will diagnose and repair a range of systems, stay current with automotive technology, and pursue ASE certifications through company-paid training. Competitive pay and growth opportunities accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Experience with brakes/hydraulics and/or steering & suspension.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.
• Current federal/state/local certification where applicable.
• 3 years of automotive repair experience (preferred).
• ASE certification in A1-A8 (L1 acceptable) (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications across brake/hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension/alignments, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical customers.
• Stay current with automotive tech through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years.
