Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading a team toward improved customer care and satisfaction.

You will diagnose and repair a range of systems, explain findings to non-technical customers, and participate in ongoing paid training with opportunities to earn ASE certifications. This on-site role requires strong mechanical skills and a commitment to service excellence.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Skilled in brakes and hydraulics and/or steering & suspension and alignments.
• Experience in automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake and hydraulic, exhaust, ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through ongoing training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; tests paid by the company; bonus for tests passed.
