Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technician/Mechanic in Nashville, TN to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading a team toward higher customer satisfaction.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years of automotive repair experience, completion of a Vocational-Technical School program, and ASE certification in at least 3 areas (A1–A8). A valid driver’s license is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of automotive repair experience.
• ASE certification in at least 3 of A1–A8 is required.
• Valid automobile driver’s license at all times.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems
• Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training
• Assist fellow technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities
