Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. seeks a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading a team toward improved customer care. You will mentor technicians, stay updated with evolving automotive technology, and participate in continuous training.

The role targets development toward ASE certifications within two years and offers benefits, competitive pay, and opportunities to grow within a nationwide network of stores.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license at all times.
• Demonstrated skill in brakes/hydraulics and steering/suspension.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.
• Within the first two years, obtain ASE certifications A1–A8.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension/alignments and A/C or computer systems as per specifications.
• Clearly explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical customers.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue and maintain ASE certifications within two years of employment.
