Job summary

Friendship Automotive is seeking an Experienced Automotive Technician to join Friendship CDJR of Forest City. The ideal candidate is a C - Level Tech or higher with 1+ year maintenance experience.

As part of our award-winning auto group, you will drive vehicles for testing, provide service time estimates, diagnose with standard tools, and perform repairs to manufacturer specifications while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of automotive mechanics.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to learn new technology and repair specifications.
• Independent starter with the ability to work well on a team.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive vehicles to test components and systems.
• Accurately estimate the time needed for service.
• Use tools and service equipment to diagnose and maintain vehicles.
• Efficiently perform work specified on Repair Orders.
• Repair to manufacturer specifications and customer expectations.
• Communicate issues or additional needs to Assistant Service Managers.
• Adhere to dealership safety procedures and quality standards.
