Qualifications

• Must obtain a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of automotive repair experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Automotive technician degree, certification or equivalent work experience.
• Own and bring your own professional automotive toolbox.
• 5 years Automotive Technician or relevant experience, with preferably 2 years Luxury Automobile Technician experience.
• Must possess a valid driver license with clean records (DMV record will be obtained periodically).
• Exhibit an unwavering commitment to safety and exceptional attention to detail.
• Demonstrated track record of excellence in past positions.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experience, exhibiting excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform difficult repairs and complete repair orders per standards.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems to specification.
• Explain mechanical diagnoses to management and customers.
• Determine needed repair activity and perform repairs.
• Follow action SMP for standard part replacement.
• May lead small groups of other technicians.
• Learn new technical information in formal training sessions.
• Inspect and test new vehicles and document findings.
