Job summary

Bruce's Tire & Auto Service is actively seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair customer vehicles per MAP guidelines and company standards. The role emphasizes accurate diagnostics, clear explanations to customers, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Diagnose vehicles according to appropriate level of certifications/experience.
• Explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical people.
• Maintain ASE certifications and renewals as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicles according to the appropriate level of certifications/experience.
• Performs work as outlined on the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Explains technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals including the Store Manager, Service Consultants and customers.
• Recommends services to keep the vehicle running and documents recommendations in the customer file.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Maintains ASE certifications and renewals of expiring certifications.
