Davidson Ford of Clay in Clay, NY is hiring a Senior Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, and electrical systems. Join a busy service department and help maintain dealership quality.

We offer a pay range of $40+ per hour (flat rate), regular hours 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday, and a sign-on bonus for qualified technicians based on experience. We provide comprehensive benefits including Ford factory training, paid time off, holidays, and an employer 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Valid New York State Inspectors License.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, transmission diagnostics, and/or engine performance.
• Ability to work independently with appropriate time management.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair a wide variety of automotive systems, including: suspension, steering, alignment, coolant systems, engine, electrical, and transmission.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools.
• Perform standard vehicle maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Continuously learns new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay up to date with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Keep advisor aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Davidson Ford of Clay has immediate openings for a Senior Automotive Technician to join our busy service department! We’re looking for an experienced technician who can diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, and/or electrical systems.

Pay Range: $40+, Flat Rate

Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday

Sign-on bonus available for qualified technicians based on experience!

Responsibilities:
