Job summary

Ramona Tire & Service Centers in the Louisville Metro Area seeks a Senior Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently, following MAP guidelines and Ramona Tire standards.

Compensation ranges from $27 to $40 per hour, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus. A Junior level option is available at $22–$27 base plus flag rate; benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation and holidays, and more.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician experience required.

• Possess valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including Saturdays.

The Senior Automotive Technician is responsible for effectively and efficiently diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles while adhering to the MAP guidelines and in accordance with dealership, manufacturers, and Ramona Tire standards. Pay Range: $27–$40 per hour in total compensation, which includes an hourly base plus additional earnings through a flag/flat-rate system. Sign On Bonus $2,000 We are open to bringing on a Junior level technican. That compensation would be $22-$27 per hour in base polus flag rate. Benefits:

Working Conditions and Physical Demands: The Automotive Technician will be exposed to moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, petroleum products, vapors, caustic materials, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. The temperature in the work environment varies and could include extreme heat and/or extreme cold depending on the ambient temperatures outside. The use of safety goggles or other PPE may be required when working in these conditions. The Automotive Technician must be able to meet the following physical requirements:

• Stand up to eight hours per day in the shop and able to walk to gain access to various areas of the building
• Bend, stoop, kneel and crouch regularly throughout the day; must have full range of motion with arms and hands and be able to feel, handle or finger objects frequently
• Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, lift and/or move up to 70 pounds frequently.
• Communicate with customers and shop personnel
• Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and re-focus
