Job summary

IntellectFaces, Inc is seeking an Automation Tester for a remote, contract role with 6-10 years of experience. You will create and execute automated tests using Playwright, Selenium, and Cypress, and work with Jira/Jenkins to track defects and CI processes.

Responsibilities include crafting test cases, running automated/regression tests, and collaborating with developers to ensure quality across the product. Strong scripting in Java or Python and SQL skills are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Software Automation Tester or similar role
• Proficiency with automation tools: Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Jira, Jenkins
• Programming in Java or Python; SQL knowledge

Responsibilities

• Create and implement automated test scripts with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress
• Analyze requirements and craft detailed test cases for automation
• Execute tests and analyze results; perform manual/regression testing as needed
• Report bugs with steps to reproduce to the dev team
• Collaborate with developers and QA to ensure integration and testing quality
• Stay updated on new automation tools and techniques; improve testing processes
• Maintain documentation of test cases, plans, and results
• Conduct performance testing to meet benchmarks
• Support UAT to validate end-to-end workflows
