Job summary

MGS Machine, a Coesia company, seeks an experienced assembler to join its Minnesota manufacturing team. You will assemble high-speed packaging machinery, lead machine powerups, and troubleshoot systems while collaborating with engineering to implement robust solutions.

Required are a 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience, 5+ years in assembly, and strong math/blueprint skills. This role involves travel to customer sites up to 20% and lifts up to 60 pounds in a shop and field setting.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience.
• 3+ years of industry specific experience or equivalent.
• Advanced shop math and blueprint reading skills.
• Extensive experience with automation including mechanical, electrical, controls, pneumatic, robotic systems, and process control.

Responsibilities

• Assemble machines using documentation such as SolidWorks models and assembly drawings.
• Lead the powerup of machines, verify I/O and basic machine functionality.
• Lead the debug of machines and systems, correct problems, and verify functionality.
