Job summary

UST in Dallas, TX is seeking a Sr Automation SDET to own end-to-end manual and automated tests for releases. You will build automation suites using Selenium (Java) and Playwright (TypeScript), Appium, and REST APIs, leading testing activities and driving QE quality gates.

You will mentor junior engineers, contribute to stability, use AI-assisted testing, and collaborate in sprint planning to accelerate delivery.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of E2E digital flow testing and automation across Mobile, Web, and bot applications; understanding validation checks (auth, payments, order flow).
• Proficient in Java, C#, Python, or TypeScript; strong hands-on coding skills in at least two languages.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and own end-to-end manual and automated tests for assigned releases.
• Create and maintain automation suites using Selenium (Java)/Playwright (TypeScript), Appium and REST API frameworks.
• Lead and coordinate testing activities for modules, owning quality gates and exit criteria.
• Drive in-sprint Agile testing and represent QE in sprint planning, estimation, and risk discussions.
• Actively validate user stories within sprint, ensuring early detection of issues.
• Contribute to automation stability, optimization, and best practices.
• Use AI-assisted testing solutions to accelerate tasks (test generation, smart test selection, failure insights, self-healing concepts).
• Define and optimize functional, regression and E2E execution strategies leveraging shared frameworks and cloud platforms.
• Mentor A1/A2 engineers, review automation code, and drive QE standards, processes, and continuous improvement.
