Job summary

Quantinuum seeks an Advanced Automation Engineer in Brooklyn Park, MN to join our team. You will lay out ICs or MEMS devices and build automation tools to speed routing and verification, collaborating with design and fabrication scientists to ensure tapeout readiness.

The role requires proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso, KLayTools, Linux, SKILL, and Python for layout. You’ll work with external foundries across multiple PDKs and contribute to innovative quantum hardware development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; electrical engineering or related field preferred.
• 3+ years in hierarchical IC or MEMS layout using EDA tools through tapeout.
• Experience with Cadence Virtuoso, klayout, and automation tools is essential.
• Proficiency in Linux, SKILL, and Python for layout tasks.
• Experience taping out layouts for external foundries and multiple PDKs is a plus.
