Job summary

Cytiva, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer for our Logan, Utah site. You will lead design, implementation, and lifecycle support of manufacturing automation and control systems, partnering with multiple teams to drive operational excellence.

Requirements include a 10+ year background in industrial automation, expert PLC/HMI skills (Rockwell), and a track record of delivering capital projects from concept through startup. On‑site role with up to 15% travel.

Qualifications

10+ years in industrial automation in manufacturing.
Lead automation scope for capital projects from concept to startup.
Expert Rockwell Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk View knowledge.

Responsibilities

Lead design, implementation, commissioning, and lifecycle management of PLC, HMI, SCADA, instrumentation, and industrial networks for manufacturing operations.
Serve as controls & automation lead for capital projects, managing architecture, vendors, FAT/SAT, startup and handoff.
Develop site automation standards, cybersecurity practices, and equipment modernization roadmaps.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring across the site to drive best practices and adoption of new automation technologies.
