Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to own end-to-end automation for water-cooled and air-cooled HVAC products, including heat exchangers and full unit assembly for data center chillers. The role blends technical ownership with business impact, building investment cases and leading execution from commissioning to sustained gains.

Qualifications

• 10+ years delivering manufacturing automation in production environments.
• 8+ years building business cases and delivering verified savings (labor, uptime, FPY).
• 8+ years of experience commissioning and sustaining automation systems in live factories.
• Ability to translate manufacturing problems into measurable improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Automation Delivery Across Products & Processes for air-cooled and final assembly automation.
• Own PLC/HMI/safety logic and drive diagnostics, alarm rationalization, and fault recovery.
• Build/expand automated test capabilities with data capture (LabVIEW) and ensure traceability via MES or data collection.
• Define ROI, payback, NPV/IRR where applicable, and prioritize project pipeline with fast payback goals.
• Embed safety and compliance into automation design, commissioning, and maintenance plans.
