Job summary

FUJIFILM Biotechnologies in Holly Springs, NC is seeking an Automation Engineer III to contribute to Emerson DeltaV control system design, qualification, and ongoing hardware/software support. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable operations across manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities include configuring code, developing documentation, and performing IQ/OQ/DS testing, with on-site collaboration and on-call troubleshooting as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or other relevant field.
• 5 years of Automation, Instrumentation & Controls, or related experience.
• Experience with Emerson DeltaV control systems.
• On-call support experience for Automation inquiries and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Performs Automation activities including code configuration and test execution.
• Delivers accurate and on-time Automation work.
• Creates standard code using medium complexity control strategies.
• Develops specification documents (URS, FS, DQ) with senior Engineers.
• Develops test protocols and IQ/OQ documentation with senior Engineers.
• Provides on-call support for Automation inquiries and troubleshooting.
• Collaborates with Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Validation.
• Other duties as assigned.
