Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an MQ Automation Engineer to join the enterprise messaging team. The role focuses on IBM MQ platform engineering, certification and automation at enterprise scale, leveraging Terraform and Ansible alongside MQ administration.

The engineer will automate MQ deployments, patching, testing and certify releases, while partnering with engineering and operations to improve deployment efficiency across cloud, VM, containers and physical servers.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of infrastructure/ software engineering experience.
• Enterprise-scale infrastructure automation experience.
• MQ configuration, patching, maintenance, upgrades, and automation.
• Linux/UNIX administration and shell scripting.
• Experience with VMs, physical servers, containers and cloud.
• Public and private cloud experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and platform support skills.

Responsibilities
