Job summary

Thermo Systems in Richmond, VA seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead complex automation projects from proposal through commissioning. You will ensure delivery across scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety while managing high-risk, multi-discipline programs.

You will interface with customers, guide project teams, and drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, aligning with The Thermo Way.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or management field.
• 8+ years in complex industrial, engineering, automation, or systems integration projects.
• Experience leading multi-discipline projects; PMP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex automation and control system projects from proposal to closeout.
• Develop execution plans, schedules, and financial forecasts.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, fabrication, software, and field services.
• Manage project financials, forecasts, costs, and changes.
• Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
