Job summary
Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking a Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to lead a local Santa Clara, CA team on semiconductor manufacturing projects.
You will oversee engineering staff, define scope, schedule and budgets, and ensure hardware-software integration across PLC, HMI, SCADA and field devices. You will bring a PE license and 10+ years of related experience, work onsite in Santa Clara, and collaborate with global teams to deliver reliable, safe control systems for
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required in Electrical, Automation or Mechatronics.
- PE licensure required.
- 10+ years of direct, relatable experience.
- Expertise with PLC, HMI, SCADA and industrial networks.
- Experience with MES integration, SQL, and IIoT.
Responsibilities
- Oversee onsite team of engineers, technicians and programmers.
- Provide scope, schedule and budget to project leadership.
- Lead development of PLC/HMI/SCADA solutions.
- Mentor staff and manage performance reviews.
- Coordinate with global teams to meet deadlines.
