Job summary

A pioneering AI robotics company in Newark, CA is seeking a Senior Automation Controls Engineer to design next-generation automated manufacturing equipment for apparel assembly. This role involves developing control systems, troubleshooting electrical layouts, and collaborating with R&D teams. Candidates should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering and 8+ years of related experience. The position is onsite and requires full authorization to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience with automated manufacturing equipment.
• 5+ years in control system design experience.
• Knowledge of UL508A, NFPA79, NEC safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop PLC and PC based control systems for custom automated equipment.
• Specify/design/troubleshoot electrical panel layout.
• Create BOM and schematics for automated equipment.
