Job summary

Dessert Holdings is seeking a Senior Engineering Project Manager to lead large capital projects, with a strong emphasis on automation and equipment innovation. The role is remote with required travel to manufacturing facilities as needed.

Reporting to the VP of Engineering & Reliability, you will drive cost-effective, compliant solutions that elevate manufacturing capabilities across Dessert Holdings’ brands. Expect collaboration with plant operations and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related) or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing large-scale, multi-million dollar engineering or automation projects.
• Strong understanding of engineering design principles, construction practices, and project scheduling; codes and standards.
• Prior experience with engineering economics, project financials, and capital budget management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office products.
• PMI/Lean Six Sigma and PE licensure are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of multimillion-dollar capital projects including facility expansions, equipment automation, capacity increases, and new construction.
• Develop and support 3–5 year CapEx plans aligned with corporate strategy and plant needs.
• Champion robotics, industrial automation, and control technologies to drive efficiency, quality, and cost reductions.
• Prepare preliminary designs, layouts, specifications, and cost estimates meeting regulatory and safety standards.
• Oversee vendor and contractor performance, guiding them through technical expectations, scheduling, and commissioning.
