Job summary

Omm IT Solutions in Woodlawn, MD seeks an experienced Automation Testing Lead to architect, design, code, and implement advanced automation solutions. You will mentor teammates, support automation framework development, and coordinate with the integration team to run automation in the testing environment.

The role requires strong Java/Selenium expertise, experience with Cucumber/Gherkin, and API testing using Parasoft and REST Assured.

Qualifications

Master's or Bachelor's with extensive automation testing experience is required.
Strong experience building Selenium automation frameworks (JUnit/TestNG) and Maven targets.
Experience configuring Selenium Grid for parallel cross‑platform testing.
Proficiency in automating tests for Web Services (REST/SOAP) and API tooling (Parasoft, Rest Assured).
Knowledge of SQL and relational databases for data verification.
Experience with Scrum/Kanban and acting as Scrum Master in agile projects.

Responsibilities

Architect, design, code, and implement next-generation automation solutions using modern software engineering practices.
Provide technical guidance for automation artifacts including framework, grid, and scripts.
Mentor and train team members on automation and project requirements.
Coordinate with integration teams to run automation in the Integration environment.
Develop and maintain automation test scripts and document defects.
Perform other duties as assigned.
