Job summary

General Dynamics IT is seeking an Automated Test Engineer in Annapolis Junction, MD to shape mission-critical government projects. You will lead the creation of robust automated test suites for UI and API layers, collaborate with an Agile team, and ensure high-quality test coverage across systems.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a related field, 15+ years of experience, and TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance. Familiarity with Cypress, Jira/Confluence, and CI/CD is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of related experience in automated testing.
• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering or CS field.
• Proven experience with Cypress for automated tests.
• U.S. citizenship and TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and Agile.

Responsibilities

• Lead/Manage/Support the development of robust automated test suites
• Collaborate with a cross-functional Agile team of software developers, system engineers, and product owners to validate functional enhancements and support modernization of tools
• Drive the design, development and maintenance of high quality, scalable automated UI and API test scripts
• Utilize Agile software development methodologies and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
