Job summary

Red Alpha seeks an Automated Test Engineer to join a collaborative test, development, and deployment team. You will develop and execute automated test plans for custom software within a multidisciplinary engineering context.

The role emphasizes automation across regression testing, documentation, and integration with cloud infrastructure in a classified AWS environment. A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field.
• 7+ years creating and executing automated test plans and scripts.
• 5+ years applying automation to dynamic, evolving mission requirements.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automated test scripts for features, configurations, and upgrades.
• Experience managing regression testing with comprehensive coverage of patches, upgrades, releases.
• Experience documenting test plans, automation standards, and execution procedures.
• Experience working within cloud infrastructure in a classified AWS environment.
• Proficiency with SVN, Git, and JIRA; understanding CM principles.
• Strong written and verbal communication; experience in an Agile Development Team.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Work to develop and execute automated test and evaluation plans for custom software as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Coordinate and integrate Evaluation and Testing tasks and products.
• Drive innovation and responsiveness to program changes and evolving test and evaluation status to help manage program risk.
