Delta World Tire in Houma, LA is seeking a Senior Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles, guide technicians, and ensure high customer satisfaction. This role requires ASE certifications or experience, and a valid Louisiana driver’s license. Benefits include 401(k), health, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician/ mechanic experience required.
• ASE certifications in lieu of experience.
• Ability to demonstrate proper use of computerized equipment for diagnostics.
• Valid Driver’s license in the work State (out-of-state licenses transferred within 30 days).
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Technical School experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicles according to the appropriate level of certifications/experience.
• Performs work as outlined on the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Performs complex and heavy-duty repairs.
• Explains technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals including store manager, service consultants, and customers.
• Recommends services to keep the customer’s vehicle in running condition and documents all recommendations.
