Gills Point S Tire in The Dalles, OR seeks an experienced Advanced Auto Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles while delivering quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• ASE certifications preferred but not required.
• Willingness to pursue ASE certifications with company support.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically capable of performing repair work in a fast-paced shop.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair engine concerns.
• Perform tune-ups and preventative maintenance services.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair cooling system components and leaks.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair steering and suspension systems.
• Perform wheel alignments and related adjustments.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic brakes, ABS, ESC systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical/electronic systems.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems and refrigerants handling.
• Complete vehicle inspections and repair recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Stay current with evolving automotive technology and repair techniques.
