Job summary

Chapel Hill Tire is hiring a part-time Senior Level Technician who takes pride in thorough repair work and mentoring teammates. You’ll diagnose complex vehicle issues, use advanced diagnostics, and communicate clearly with service advisors while maintaining a high standard of quality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a senior technician preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• ASE certifications a plus (or willingness to earn them).
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and dependable.
• Calm under pressure, coachable, and team-focused.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues (engine, electrical, drivability, HVAC, suspension, brakes, etc.)
• Use advanced diagnostic tools and follow proven repair processes
• Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately
• Communicate clearly with service advisors and support fellow techs
• Take ownership of your bay, your work, and your results
• You may also have the opportunity to help mentor apprentices (if desired) and help raise the bar for the whole shop
