Job summary

Hogan & Sons Tire and Auto in Leesburg, VA is seeking a Senior Automotive Technician / Mechanic to diagnose and repair customer vehicles in accordance with MAP guidelines and company standards. Compensation is up to a $50 flat rate with competitive bi-weekly pay and a full benefits package.

The role requires diagnosing vehicles, performing inspections and repairs, explaining diagnoses to customers, and maintaining ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Active ASE certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicles according to the appropriate level of certifications/experience.
• Performs work as outlined on the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Explains technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals including the Store Manager, Service Consultants and/or customers.
• Recommends services necessary to keep the vehicle in running condition; documents all recommendations in the customer file.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Maintains ASE certifications and renewals of expiring certifications.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
