Job summary

Manheim, a Cox Automotive company, is seeking a Senior Auto Maintenance Tech in Dallas, TX. You will perform advanced diagnostics, clutch and transmission work, and coordinate parts with procurement to keep vehicles on the road.

Eligible to advance with strong ASE credentials and years of hands-on automotive service. You will work both independently and in teams, with opportunities for sign-on bonuses and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of automotive service and repair experience.
• The ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.
• Must have a valid drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Performing advanced diagnostics.
• Clutch and transmission replacement.
• Identify required parts and partner with parts & procurement teams to acquire necessary parts.
• Alerting team lead/management about difficult issues, patterns and trends.
• May upfit new vehicles with necessary equipment.
• May be required to perform OEM recalls.
• Work independently or in a team environment.

What You'll Do

Who You Are

Let's start with the obvious: you love cars. You're at the top of your game and are looking toward the future. You also have the following qualifications:

Required

• Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
• 5+ years of automotive service and repair experience.
• The ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.

Preferred

• A high school diploma or GED
• Current ASE Certifications: A1-9, (L1 in emission states) when required by leadership.

MSCOX

USD 26.73 - 40.10 per hour

Compensation

Hourly pay rate is in the range of $26.73 - $40.10/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Benefits

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
