Job summary

Auto Glass Now is seeking a Sr. Auto Glass Technician to install windshields and glass for shop or mobile units, calibrate ADAS systems, and repair chips. You will interact with customers, process payments, and uphold a professional image while delivering quality service.

The role requires 2+ years of installation experience, a valid license, ability to pass an MVR check, and comfort with physical duties and driving monitored by telematics.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive glass installation experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR check.
• Proficiency with various automotive glass types.
• Strong knowledge of auto mechanic tools and techniques for glass repair/replacement.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent critical thinking and diligence.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to perform physical job demands (lift up to 50 lbs).
• Job involves driving with telematics monitoring for safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

As a Driven Brands Auto Glass Technician, you will:

• Install windshields and auto glass in our shop or from a mobile operation unit.
• Calibrate vehicle electronics such as ADAS systems, Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Alert, etc.
• Repair chips and other glass damage.
• Interact with customers to ensure customer satisfaction with a job well done.
• Process payments from mobile customers.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Provide World Class customer service to our valued customers and vendors.

Experienced Glass Technician Requirements:

• 2+ Year(s) of automotive glass installation experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR check.
• Proficiency in managing and working with several types of automotive glass.
• Strong knowledge of auto mechanic tools, equipment, and techniques used in glass repair and replacement.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications.
• Strong customer experience skills.
• Excellent critical thinking skills and diligence.
• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job.
• This position involves driving duties that will be monitored and recorded by a telematics device to ensure safety and compliance.

Physical Demands:

In performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to maneuver around vehicles to position yourself safely during installations. Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning, must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary.
