Barrett Automotive in Eastanollee, GA is seeking an experienced A/B-Level Automotive Technician. The role offers a pay rate of $45–$55 per flagged hour and a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends, in a family-owned independent shop known for quality diagnostics and continuous improvement.

You will perform advanced diagnostics, major mechanical repairs, and DVI using Tekmetric, while documenting findings and ensuring accurate repairs in a flat-rate environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and drivability skills.
• Electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to complete complex mechanical repairs.
• Comfortable working in a flat-rate environment.
• Independent repair shop experience preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with Service Advisors and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose drivability, electrical, and mechanical concerns
• Perform advanced automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Complete major mechanical repairs and component replacements
• Perform Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) using Tekmetric
• Document vehicle findings and recommended repairs
• Complete accurate, quality repairs in a flat-rate environment
• Work with Service Advisors to keep repairs moving efficiently
