Job summary

Carvana is seeking an Experienced Heavy Body Technician in Manville, NJ to perform extensive panel repair and heavy bodywork on multiple panels. You will also train other autobody technicians and may engage in plastic welding, metal pulling, roof and rocker repairs, and Bondo work.

The role operates on a night shift (4:00pm–2:30am), Monday to Thursday with overtime on Fridays as needed. A minimum of five years in automotive bodywork is required, with competitive pay and attractive perks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
• Ability to train other autobody technicians.
• Experience with heavy plastic welding/stapling and metal work is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Train other autobody technicians.
• Perform extensive bodywork on multiple panels including heavy plastic welding and stud welding.
• Repair roof and rocker panels; perform Bondo and other bodywork as needed.
