Job summary

Carvana is seeking an Experienced Heavy Body Technician to join our team at one of our inspection centers. You will train fellow autobody technicians and perform extensive bodywork on multiple panels, including heavy plastic welding and stud welding.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of professional automotive bodywork experience and can work in a fast-paced environment with safety as a priority. Carvana offers great perks and a path for skill and pay progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools; lift up to 60 pounds.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Occasional MVR checks may apply.
• Work in a fast-paced production environment with exposure to heat/cold.
• Use of safety equipment such as face shield, goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask.

Responsibilities

• Train other autobody technicians and perform extensive bodywork on multiple panels, including plastic welding, metal pulling, roof and rocker panel repair, and stud welding.
• Lead and execute heavy bodywork tasks to meet production needs in a high-volume center.
