Job summary

Carvana seeks an Autobody Prepper/Heavy Body Technician with 5+ years of professional automotive bodywork experience to contribute to our high‑tech reconditioning centers. The role includes training other autobody technicians and performing extensive bodywork on multiple panels, including heavy plastic welding and stud welding.

You will handle roof and rocker panel repairs, Bondo work, and large area projects as part of a team dedicated to exceptional vehicle quality and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
• Ability to train other autobody technicians.

Responsibilities

• Train other autobody technicians and perform extensive bodywork on multiple panels.
• Heavy plastic welding/stapling, metal pulling, straightening, shrinking, and stud welding as part of large area bodywork.
• Roof and rocker panel repair and Bondo repair as needed.
