Job summary

The American Cancer Society is seeking a Senior Auditor to deliver high-quality assurance and advisory services across the organization. This role plans, schedules, and leads diverse audits, reviews, and special projects while identifying process improvements.

The position is 100% remote with about 10% travel. A Bachelor's degree is required and at least four years of audit experience; a Master’s degree or CPA/CIA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required for the role.
• Master's degree in Accounting or MBA preferred.
• CIA or CPA certification preferred.
• At least four years of internal/external auditing experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute internal audits, assess controls, and document work per standards.
• Identify control weaknesses and deliver actionable audit reports to leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the audit function.
• Conduct follow‑up reviews on prior findings and assess corrective actions.
• Execute special projects aligned with organizational priorities.
