Kforce is recruiting for a Senior Auditor for a leading global organization in Saint Louis, MO. This highly visible hybrid role lets you lead risk-based audits, partner with business leaders across functions, and strengthen operational and financial controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• CPA, CIA, CISA, CA, or similar professional certification preferred or in progress.
• 3+ years of experience in internal audit, external audit, accounting, business analysis, or program evaluation.
• Strong understanding of auditing standards and internal controls.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with HighBond or similar audit management tools is a plus.
• Spanish or Portuguese language skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal audit engagements from planning through reporting.
• Conduct interviews, review documentation, and evaluate internal controls.
• Perform audit testing, analyze processes, and identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare audit workpapers and draft clear, concise audit reports.
• Lead audit opening and closing meetings with management and key stakeholders.
• Monitor audit progress and communicate project status updates.
• Present audit findings and recommendations to leadership.
• Support risk assessments and annual audit planning activities.
• Build strong relationships across business functions and global teams.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members.
