Zusammenfassung

Westlake seeks an Auditor II to participate in and lead a variety of audits including internal controls, vendor reviews, and Sarbanes-Oxley testing. You will evaluate control design, test operating effectiveness, and help scope projects while documenting findings for reports.

Responsibilities include planning, risk assessment, identifying process improvements, and presenting results to senior management. Some travel up to 30% may be required, and collaboration with outside firms is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering or other business degree required.
• Combination of 3 years’ experience in internal audit or 1 year in public accounting or consulting.
• Professional certification (CISA, CIA, CPA, CFE, or equivalent) or progress towards certification preferred.
• Knowledge of internal audit practices and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements and testing approaches preferred.
• Knowledge of governance activities and COSO framework preferred.
• Ability to apply experience, critical thinking, and internal control concepts to evaluate processes and identify risks.
• Experience with data analytics and digital transformation initiatives a plus.

• Assists in planning, organizing, analyzing, testing, and reporting to management on audit results.
• Assesses risks relating to business processes and helps develop risk-based project plans.
• Identifies opportunities for process and control improvements and discusses with process owners.
• Participates in client opening and closing meetings for projects.
• Prepares workpapers supporting observations and documents work performed.
