Vogrinc Search Group is seeking a seasoned CPA to join our Chicago-area team and lead client engagements. The role emphasizes high standards of accounting, audit and tax services, with opportunities for advancement and comprehensive benefits.

You will supervise staff accountants, review work papers and financial statements, and coordinate tax return preparation within audit engagements. A BS/MAS with CPA and public accounting experience are essential.

Qualifications

• BS/MAS Degree required.
• CPA certification required.
• Public accounting firm experience is a MUST.
• Taxation knowledge is required.

Responsabilités

• Provide outstanding client service and communication.
• Direct staff accountants as part of a client engagement team.
• Review programs to ensure assignments are completed within budgeted time.
• Review work papers for accuracy and completeness.
• Review financial statements for proper presentation and disclosures.
• Develop spreadsheet analyses (trial balance, reconciliations) and special projects.
• Conduct accounting compilations and reviews.
• Prepare business tax returns as part of audit engagements.
