Job summary

The Carlyle Group is seeking a Senior Auditor for its Global Internal Audit & Advisory function to lead cyber and technology audits. The role emphasizes planning, testing, and reporting with a strong focus on technology risk and AI-enabled audit tools.

You will collaborate with Cybersecurity and Technology stakeholders, contribute to risk assessment, and drive continuous improvement in audit methods. In-office four days a week in Washington, DC.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of internal IT audit or risk advisory experience.
• Experience in financial services or asset management preferred.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity domains and ITGC testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute all phases of audit engagements, planning, walkthroughs, fieldwork, testing, and reporting.
• Map system flows, identify risks, and evaluate control design and operating effectiveness.
• Identify deficiencies with root causes and remediation guidance; document findings clearly.
• Support annual risk assessment and audit planning with technology risk insights.
• Interact with Cybersecurity, Technology, and business stakeholders; communicate findings clearly.
