Job summary

FlexTecs is seeking an experienced Auditor to join its contract compliance practice in the United States. You will support client engagements, assist audit delivery teams, and help plan and manage audit programs with supplier selection, stakeholder engagement, and settlements.

You will analyze findings, present to clients, and contribute to continuous improvement of audit methodologies while traveling to meet clients as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Contract Compliance audit, accounting, or financial planning and analysis.
  • Understanding of supplier contracting and commercial terms and conditions.
  • Great team worker, able to lead or assist to complete the review required.
  • Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
  • May be required to travel for client meetings and FlexTecs events.

Responsibilities

  • Work efficiently and effectively with other team members to deliver audit planning and execution.
  • Attend meetings with clients/suppliers to provide detailed analysis of findings and present to client teams.
  • Prepare initial audit reports outlining findings, recommendations, and potential financial impact for senior review.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments and propose improvements to audit methodologies and processes.

Job description

About the Role

As an Auditor in FlexTecs’ contract compliance practice, you will be responsible for assisting with client engagements and audit delivery teams. You will participate with aspects of audit program planning and management including supplier selection, stakeholder engagement, and audit settlement negotiations. Exposure to these elements will increase your knowledge and experience leading to greater capability over the medium to long term. The role will be to ensure accuracy and integrity in the analysis your undertake, increasing comprehensiveness and efficiency over time. The role may also require elements of quality review when combining work carried out by other team members on reviews which have been completed as a team review. the audit process. You may serve as the primary point of contact for clients and suppliers on some reviews, responsible for delivering a high-quality review which meet or exceed client expectations.

Team Working
  • Work efficiently and effectively with other team members

  • Suggest improvement opportunities when identified to improve audit process or client/supplier experience
Audit Planning and Execution
  • Work under the direction of senior team members to deliver comprehensive audit plans based on client objectives and industry best practices.
  • Suggest testing approaches to be used when carrying out reviews. Participate in the execution of audits, keeping to established timelines and quality standards.
  • Assist junior team members when reviewing their potential audit findings to validate any errors or to correct any misunderstandings
Client Engagement
  • Attend meetings with clients/suppliers to provide detailed analysis of findings if required.
  • Present to client team members activities undertaken as part of the review, the findings and potential impact. Ensure FlexTecs are supported in these actions by the client
  • Prepare comments for “Tracker” updates to client
Reporting and Analysis
  • Prepare initial audit reports outlining findings, recommendations, and potential assessments of financial impact for senior team review.
  • Present audit findings to senior management, articulating complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Work in partnership with other team members deliver high quality work
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging trends, and best practices in procurement and contract compliance
  • Support initiatives to enhance audit methodologies and processes to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
