Job summary

Tichenor & Associates, LLP is seeking a Senior Auditor for an on-site role in the Louisville metropolitan area. You will lead audit engagements, assess risks, test controls, and ensure financial statement accuracy and compliance.

You will mentor junior staff, review workpapers, and uphold firm methodologies and high professional standards while delivering client-centered service.

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in auditing and accounting, including planning audit engagements, performing substantive and control testing, and evaluating financial statements.
• Proficiency with audit software, spreadsheets, and general office productivity tools; ability to analyze data and prepare clear documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings, draft reports, and collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor team members, manage multiple engagements, and meet deadlines with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required; CPA license or progress toward CPA certification strongly preferred.
• Several years of relevant public accounting or audit experience, with increasing responsibility in managing audit engagements.
• Commitment to professional ethics, continuous learning, and delivering high-quality client service in a team-oriented environment.
