U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Audit Manager – Professional Practices Strategy & Transformation to advance Corporate Audit Services (CAS) Professional Practices.

You will design, execute, and deliver high-impact initiatives to enhance audit effectiveness, efficiency, and scalability from Day One. You’ll lead cross-functional project teams, partner across methodology, planning, operations, and audit teams, and drive change management for new processes and tools while engaging senior leadership and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Typically more than 10 years of applicable experience in internal audit, risk management, or related field.
• Strong understanding of internal audit practices, audit lifecycle, and regulatory expectations in financial services.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Experience with change management, process design, and simplification efforts.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to tailor messaging for senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional project teams to drive strategic priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Oversee end-to-end audit lifecycle design and simplification from planning through reporting.
• Manage a portfolio of high-priority initiatives with clear timelines and success metrics.
• Develop and execute change management strategies for new processes and tools.
• Create clear, concise communications for senior leadership and governance forums.
• Collaborate across Professional Practices and audit teams to ensure practical, scalable solutions.
• Provide guidance and informal coaching to team members and project participants.
• Represent Professional Practices in cross-CAS initiatives and working groups.
