Job summary

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts is seeking a Senior Auditor to partner with leadership in regulatory and PBM audits. You will facilitate audit work, identify control gaps, and drive improvements across departments to ensure compliance and effective risk management.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, 3+ years in healthcare or health insurance, and a solid grasp of BCBSMA operations. Hybrid/onsite work and broad exposure to regulators are possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of experience in healthcare or health insurance.
• Experience with BCBSMA operations is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct, support, or facilitate regulatory and PBM audits in compliance with policies.
• Identify gaps and opportunities to improve end-to-end audit programs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Internal Audit, Compliance, and FWA teams to address risks.
• Manage audit inquiries, findings, and corrective action plans with business leaders.
• Validate root-cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are effectively implemented.
• Support multiple projects with tight deadlines and reporting to project leaders.
• Maintain well-documented work papers for executive leadership and Audit Committee.
