The role includes up to 10% travel within PA, DC, and Maryland, supervising staff, reviewing workpapers, and ensuring adherence to professional standards while delivering high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Active CPA license required.
• 7–10 years of public accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of audit planning, execution, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience supervising audit engagements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, manage, and complete audit engagements.
• Communicate with clients regarding audit requirements, findings, and related matters.
• Review audit reports, opinions, management letters, and supporting workpapers.
• Develop audit strategies and plans with senior team members.
• Perform and oversee internal control assessments and substantive testing.
• Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and service delivery.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop audit team members with regular feedback.
• Delegate assignments and monitor engagement progress for timely completion.
• Manage engagement budgets, project schedules, financial performance, and quality reviews.
• Ensure audit engagements comply with professional standards and quality requirements.
