Job summary

Sapphire Recruitment Pty in the Latham office is seeking a Senior Audit Manager to lead assurance engagements and provide an experienced leadership presence within the team. This role offers visibility, autonomy and potential advancement toward Principal or Partner.

You will plan and manage audit engagements, review financial statements and workpapers, ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and GAAS, manage staff and budgets, and serve as a primary liaison for clients across the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA license strongly preferred.
• Experience as Audit Manager or Senior Audit Manager is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and GAAS.

The successful candidate will manage audit work for clients across the firm while helping guide the local team, strengthen office culture and support continued growth in the Capital Region. This opportunity offers visibility, autonomy and potential advancement toward Principal or Partner.

Qualifications

• Current or previous Audit Manager or Senior Audit Manager title preferred.


• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and GAAS.


• Experience managing engagements and reviewing financial statements and workpapers.


• Demonstrated client-management and staff-development experience.


• Strong communication, judgment and organizational skills.


• Willingness to work regularly from the Latham office.


• Capital Region residency or willingness to relocate.
